⚠️ Polyester rated 480°F — fails on gas/Chicago ironers (450–500°F). Use Nomex for heat above 480°F.

When to Replace

Replace when tape becomes frayed, stretched, glazed, or breaks. Worn guide tape can cause linen misalignment, jams, and uneven feeding, leading to reduced finishing quality and increased operator intervention.
