Wax cloth spreads ironer wax evenly across the ironing surface of a flatwork ironer. When the cloth goes stiff or wears thin, the wax stops spreading evenly. Friction climbs, linen scorches, finish quality drops, and buildup forms on the roll. Replace the cloth when it turns stiff, looks worn, or leaves wax uneven.
