Retaining pin for Washex washer-extractor friction shoe or brake shoe assemblies. Secures shoe position under vibration and load during wash and extraction cycles. Failed or deformed pin causes shoe misalignment, uneven wear, and mechanical instability in the damping or braking assembly. Inspect pin for scoring or elongation at bore during shoe replacement.
